This is a high ozone device and safety is questionable. The Air Resource board of California list Ecoquest as a residential air cleaner that should not be used.

Ozone plates create ozone by corona discharge which creates nitric acid as a by-product. Nitric acid will cause rust on metals and eat away at rubber. It will also rust out the machine making it a high maintenance item.
