It is recommended to place at least one on each floor. A Induct ACT is a better solution because it will deliver clean air through the house via the duct work.

3. Bigger is better right? Shouldn't I just get a Air Oasis 3000Xtreme instead of an Air Oasis 3000? What about the Air Oasis 5000?
The Air Oasis 3000Xtreme is specifically a double output air purifier manufactored for areas of high contamination. It is good for a moldy basement or places like a nail tech salon where there many chemicals in the air. But it is not recommended for use in the average home. The Air Oasis 5000 is strictly intended for commercial use only.

4. What maintenance is involved with the Air Oasis?
The only maintenance required is the replacement of the APHCO cell once every 3 years.

5. I was considering the Induct ACT purifiers since I have 2 HVAC systems but I wasn't sure if they would withstand the extreme summer temperatures up in my attic. Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated..
One of the reasons the Air Oasis Induct ACT air purifier is unique to the market is the aluminum construction. You will not have to worry about extreme heat or cold conditions after it is installed.

7. I have a Ionic Breeze and it gives off a odor. Does yours?
Yes. The odor you smell is ozone. It is commonly compared to an "after a thunderstorm fresh smell" or a slight bleach or antiseptic smell. You can smell ozone at around .01 ppm. Air Oasis test at about .01 to .02 ppm, well below the Federal limit of .05ppm. for home air cleaners.

8. How is it possible to clean the air without a filter?
With the Air Oasis a filter is not needed. The Advanced Oxidizers created by the air purifier will travel through your home and destroy airborne contaminants on site. Any large particles like hair will require a separate filtering device.

9. Isn't ozone in any amount dangerous? What about UV?
A
. Air Oasis will create only .01 to .02 ppm of Ozone. This is well below the Federal Safety levels of .05 ppm of Ozone. Ozone is a very effective cleaning agent at safe levels, but at high levels it is dangerous to the lungs and can be lethal. Like electricity or other potent energies, Ozone must be harnessed and respected to get the best results. This is precisely the function of the Air Oasis APHCO cell.
B. UV must also be respected and kept at lower levels. The UV that Air Oasis uses is not considered dangerous.

10. Is the Air Oasis safe for a newborn? How about pets?

Yes, We recommend using a Mini Air Oasis in the baby's room.
Your Pets can only benefit from clean air as well.

11. I have a bad mold problem in basement, do you have air purifier for that?
Yes the Air Oasis 3000Xtreme was designed for just this purpose in mind.

12. Does the Air Oasis remove cigarette smoke?

Yes, The Advanced Oxidizing Ions created by the Air Oasis will break up smoke. We recommend a Air Oasis 3000Xtreme for heavy smokers and homes with a long history of tobacco smoke contamination.

13. I did the "before and after" air quality test but I did not see significant results. What happened?
First a little trouble shooting.
a. You have a wrong air purifier for the space. A Mini will do little for large areas just as a Air Oasis 3000 would be overkill in the bathroom. Air Oasis comes in 8 models to match your specific needs.
b. Is there a blue glow coming from the air purifier? A purple glow will indicate a bad UV bulb. No glow probably means the AHPCO cell is not plugged in properly.
c. There is a perpetual problem like heavy mold or a dirty HVAC unit pumping contaminants in the house. You may need to increase the amount of air purification in this case.

14. What is your Return Policy? Warranty?
30 day Money Back Guarantee. May be subject to a restocking fee if not returned in resalable shape. It comes with a 3 Year Manufactors Warranty. Air Oasis Mobile Sanifier carries a 1 year warranty.
